A soundscape commissioned for the Greenway Project, installed in a pedestrian tunnel running underneath a light rail line and set against the murals and mosaics of a previous community arts project that decorate the tunnel. 

 

A Space To Call Our Own was made with samples of natural and urban sounds of the local area, as well as material generated in a series of workshops with children, aged 9-10, from a local state primary school.

 

The soundscape ran over three weeks of October 2019 in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Greenway Arts Prize.
